Hannah Lowe speaks on intercession in a meeting on October 22, 1972. This 50-minute message is broken out into five parts.

Part 5 of 5

Cyrus was the king that was anointed and, you could say, sovereignly called – there was never anything such a thing – anointed – Cyrus. He was prophesied of, by Jeremiah, also by Isaiah, and known his name way before he was in existence. So it was all the ends of the earth were upon him, but he had to give in, too. And he had to do what the Lord wanted or it would have just been a great call – one that never answered the call. Wonderful. You can see just wonderfully how a Gentile king like he was called and did all of that, because he was so called and so anointed. Cyrus the Gentile king, out of season, just wasn’t supposed to have anything or be anybody special. But while the kings of Israel failed miserably, he didn’t.

We have a sample of that, we have it all along, but especially yesterday, late hour. This lady that never saw us before – I think you had seen her once – or didn’t know exactly who we were, what we were, came down and down with the price, and then finally we gave her the tract and said that God would bless her for what she had done. She said, I will be praying for your mission. Just like you said, she didn’t know anything about it, but said, “I’ll be praying for your mission,” and had done all she could to help us to have something that would be beautiful. And yet, she didn’t just where, she didn’t know any of the story whatever, but she was in the place where she could be blessed of the Lord.

While we have the grandfather who was in the place to do something, we hope and believe that something will happen, but up until this time shut the door of his heart, nearing eternity, not having any of the building laid up there, nothing to his credit, not even his soul saved, and he says, no, don’t do anything for you, and he knew it was partly for the work. Praise God, you see the other side. He knew what it was for and it’s so wonderful in any one of our lives to know at the right time to give and the blessing that comes from it. Not just say, that poor man or poor woman or something, what about us? What have we done? What are we doing? We’re called, yes, chosen, yes. I believe that God knew every one of us, He knew all about us and foreordained us and all of that – we wouldn’t be here – but what are we doing? Look at all.

I happened to be reading about the same thing this morning (Jeremiah 21) – where the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah. “And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath. 6And I will smite the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast….”

I went over to the 23rd (chapter of Jeremiah): “1Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. 2Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD. 3And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD. 5Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

“8But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.” Of course, we’ve read that many times, but it goes right in with the theme of today, of the false shepherds. And then the king shall be raised, and he shall be called “The Lord our Righteousness,” praise God.

The desire of the Lord’s heart when He made Adam in His own image and likeness was after he had made everything, then straightened it all out after the devil had, you could say, flown into it and pitched it in any condition, anything we could think of, the chaos was so tremendous upon the earth. Then He fixed that all up, gotten the garden all ready. But it seems to me that the great overflow, the overflow of his greatness and his love is to have something for himself in his own image and likeness.
His own image and likeness: in Spanish, it is semejanza, resembling, being just likened to himself that He made Adam in his very likeness. “Let us…” He conferred with the Holy Spirit and the Son to make for Himself the nearest he could get to himself in the form of flesh, to inhabit the garden and the beauty and the glory upon the earth. See, the whole earth was an overflow, everything he did was an overflow of himself.

He could be pent-up God, be the same, but the Word says He spoke the word and worlds came into being. He just spoke, and it was done. Even when the darkness came upon it by the enemy, and he said, Let there be light. And there was light. All was straightened out. He just hurled the world into space, there it is, and he spoke. You could see the planning though: Let us make man in our own image and likeness semejanza, likeness, just like as much as could be God. Well, you know God is love, one of the greatest of his attributes. He has wrath and justice, and all the different attributes, but the main one is love.

Of course people accuse him and say he caused this or caused that. They don’t take into consideration how much God loves them, and even the things that would seem against them is all to bring them more into favor with himself. It’s because they have gone after idols or whatever it could be. But he is hedging them about – as it says, Job was hedged about – in order to concentrate upon them and have them concentrate upon Him. Moses looked upon God, and the light of God came upon Moses, so there was a concentration of the light of the reflection upon him – the closeness of God to Moses. Moses took out upon the mount that it shone forth in his countenance as he came down from the mountain.
But the wonder of it all is that God loves what he made. He made it, he’s interested in it. He created it, he created heaven and earth, he created man in his own image. Adam was a direct making, creation of God, his own idea and for a purpose, and then to replenish the earth.

All of that, like we’re talking about Cyrus, his mind, his foreordained plan – Cyrus, he could have said yes or no.

The same with Adam and Eve, created, not just born like Cyrus, but created in God’s image and yet to fail God utterly, utterly. Fail God utterly. Failure. You can say the whole dispensation – failure. The next dispensation – failure. Every dispensation ends with failure and judgment because of the failure. Then as we know God, knowing of the failure, even looked like failure even when satan was able to throw it into confusion. But out of it came the light, the best possible was done. And out of all these failures, the best possible that is done, we can see the remnant. The remnant, the remnant. And out of the failure, God began with a nation.

And, as I have said before, it’s just like there was the whole world, the known world then, the world that was populated then, and out from that sea of humanity, however great it was – it couldn’t be anything like today, the earth wasn’t replenished like it is today – but out of that great sea of humanity of that day, then God took off a river, a tributary, and that was by speaking to one man, and saying to that one man, step out, follow me. I will give you a land just lying before you already foreordained, out there waiting for you, just walk in my paths and that will all be done for you. I’ll take care of all the rest. You walk in my plans, and it’s been like that. It was like that with Adam.

Don’t do this certain one thing – failure. And with Abraham, even after the sinking down, he comes up again to it and goes through with God taking off the tributary and replenishes and replenishes. We have what we have today of the Jews of Israel, Judah. Praise God! But then that nation or that people or that person or that king or that one whom He has called – blessed you can say Cyrus again. Cyrus heeded, Cyrus obeyed, Cyrus aided, Cyrus did the will of God, being out of the line of blessing, but an individual that was blessed, as God can bless. Just like the Syrophoenician woman, she wasn’t in for the special blessing but she believed, and she was blessed, she got the healing for her daughter, the demons were cast out.

So it isn’t that God just goes his merry way so to speak, and he has just such a limited vision and just goes straight down, though that is true. Yet outside of that, anybody that reaches through, you can see like a beam – say there’s a beam going out – and you say well, you can’t get into it. It’s a light there, but you can, you can just reach into that beam and say, but, but, but…. There were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah. But the woman that got the blessing was not an Israelite. Praise God.

Those times that God hears even outside of the foreordained, the predestined, certain as he said, I’m only called to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. But, but faith moves Him. Faith does the work. Faith brings it about. Praise God! And as he took off this tributary and took for his gem, the apple of his eye – all of the prophets, and the pathos, and the calling, everything that we can muster together – if we could take those Scriptures out and put them together, it would be the greatest, the most marvelous book just put together on what’s for Israel. What’s for Israel, if, if, if….

And he had those, the Israelites, he had Israel for his choice, his gem, his called, his chosen, his love, his wife to bestow upon Israel, but they would not. Jerusalem, Jerusalem. If you had only known, in this your day, but your house is left unto you desolate, and the Jews turn on you: if that’s the guy that you have, I don’t want to hear about him. If this is the guy that permitted the ovens in Germany, then don’t tell me about him. Not realizing, and not understanding – they couldn’t, they didn’t understand when Jesus spoke, they said, well, who are you? And what are you talking about? And he said, well, if Abraham were truly your father, then you would know who I am. And if you really believed in Moses, you would understand me better.

But because their hearts were alienated and their hearts were darkened, and they were blinded, that they couldn’t see the numbness, the darkness over them, that they couldn’t understand, they couldn’t reach in even though they were supposed to reach in, they couldn’t reach in, and go right along with that beam. Be right in the whole thing, they couldn’t because they wouldn’t, they wouldn’t. They were called to, but they wouldn’t. Praise God for those that along you see very few along you see that could reach in from the specially, the specifically called because that was the nation that was called. Finally the overthrow that God couldn’t stand any longer, no more than he could just do what he could, the best possible for Adam and Eve, the best possible under the circumstances was done. He couldn’t restore them to their former innocent state.

They opened, you could say, their own eyes, well, they were naked, well, they wouldn’t have needed any clothing, as I have said before. The sun, the moon, the stars, as Paul said, they all have their glory. You cannot look at the sun with any steadfastness. You cannot, it has its own glory. So they had the glory the shekinah upon them, that there was no need for any clothes. But when they sinned, the glory fell off, and they were naked of the glory of God, just not only naked, but naked because of the covering of the shekinah that they wouldn’t have had. You couldn’t see them for the glory, they couldn’t see one another for the glory that they were made in. They were the direct image of God, it fell off, and they discovered that they were humans and that they had nothing.

So they tried to cover that up quickly, but God could not restore them to the former because he had put them to the test, and they failed, and it was over. He did the best possible under the circumstances, as he told them what would happen, spoke to them: Adam, this will happen to you, Eve, this will happen to you, the serpent, this will happen to you. Thank God for the light of prophecy, the first prophecy: Genesis 3:15. And you have bruised his heel, but he will bruise your head, O glory to God. That woman that was chosen of God, Mary, could bring forth the one that would do the work.

What a glorious day. What a marvelous work, praise God. And in the fullness of time, it took a long, long time, how many years that took? Well, more or less, how many? Four thousand? More or less, four thousand.

God is not slack concerning his promises, as some men count slack. God is not a man that he should lie or the son or man that he should repent. And the wrath of God that hasn’t come down upon the neck of satan yet, yes, through Jesus, the fatal blow was given. But we don’t see all things yet into effect. But we shall. Praise God.

And his neck was tread upon that day, and he was put down under the feet of Jesus and St. Paul says the God of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly. Shortly? Four thousand years? But then you can see more. And the word says that a day is as a thousand years with God, and a thousand years…. It is that in that statement of that Scripture – well, what do you get out of it, and people try to… – it is that the time doesn’t mean anything to God. Time doesn’t mean anything to God, there are no clocks striking in the sense of tick tick tock tock up there, praise God. Whatever he has said, he will do, and because he has put it here, and part of it has come to pass, the rest will come to pass. Rest assured, that his will will be done, on earth as it is done in heaven, hallelujah.

The coaxing, the crying out, the burden, the intercession for Israel, the intercession. What is intercession? Intercession is what Paul said to the Romans that the Holy Spirit groans within us, that we’re that close to the Lord. It isn’t something that you think, well so-and-so needs prayer, pray the rounds. When we’re not moving and linked entirely up in the Spirit, that’s all we can do is pray the rounds. And most of it are the rounds, what can we do? But unless God takes over, and it comes through with that which is pinpointed by him, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we go on with the rounds. And there’s nothing wrong with the rounds, in a sense, that people need praying for, and we’re not always to the place where we’re so linked up, that we know the mind of the Holy Spirit.

That Scripture in Romans 8:26-27: “26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” That’s it. And other than that, and there are different kinds of praying. Paul writing to Timothy said that there are supplications, and that there are different kinds of prayers. But when you are talking about praying in the Spirit, intercession, it is something that you just wouldn’t even know what would be coming.

Abraham did not know that Sodom and Gomorrah were in such jeopardy. He didn’t know that the next thing was God’s judgment to fall on those wicked cities. But God, watching his life, that he was ordering his house well – and that wasn’t just imagination, that’s what God said, it’s not what I say, or what he thought – must I hide the thing from Abraham that I’m about to do, seeing what? Seeing…? It’s the ordering of his house. You can find that Scripture, it’s on the left hand side of the page on the left hand column, I just don’t know where it is. Praise God that Abraham – you say, well, what is it now, I can’t get to this place of intercession.

No, you can’t, the Lord has to take you over. But you can do what he was doing, what is it? Genesis 18:17-19a, “17And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment;…” “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him.” That’s why.

So as you walk seemingly a life of, well, you just take it as it comes – that’s all you can do – but, you’re living the life, that’s why God could reveal to him and bring him into the place of intercession. What he got hold of was God’s mind. And what it is is God in his great wrath – it says, in the midst of wrath, he remembers mercy – in his great wrath, his fury goes out against sin, but He wants to have mercy, he shows it with Jesus Christ, Jesus his son, through him we have mercy. But this day that we are especially looking at now, in that time, he was giving to Abraham what was in his mind – I will have mercy. And the mercy would hinge on if he could find anyone there, because Abraham started out with about 40, didn’t he?, and it came to 30. 50?…40…30…10.

And all it was, if God could find, now the Lord – yes!, if you found 50, but there weren’t 50. Yes!, if you could find 40, but there weren’t 40. Yes!, God would have had mercy if you could find 30, 20, 10, and then he left off, because as God was searching somehow revealing to Abraham in prayer there weren’t that many. He wouldn’t know, he didn’t search, but he knew as he prayed God’s mind so well that was doing the computer work there. No, not 40, not 30, not 20, not 10. He knew the computer of God that it wasn’t going through. Praise God. He knew. Why?, because he had searched – the Holy Spirit searching the mind of God reveals so that we don’t pray what we know about or what we’re thinking about at that moment when we are hooked to heaven. It comes through that Sodom and Gomorrah are going up in smoke.

And there’s a man so in order that the day of judgment comes. When people come up, yes, but when nations will be judged. And there’s a judgment of nations, I don’t understand it all, but they are called sheep and goats, that’s the judgment, the sheep and goats. The sheep to the right and the goats to the left when nations, when people come up and say, I didn’t have the chance, Sodom and Gomorrah will come, I didn’t have the chance. But there was one man that got through to the mind of God so the balancing that accusation against God. God is so just.

God is so real, honest to people, and to you and to me, that when you come up before him and you’ll stand there alone and you’ll try to have your excuses, but there will be to offset that in every case I believe in the world that ever has been, God will have the offsetting, in 1900, or in 1800, or B.C., A.D., what have you. There will be the offsetting of it because God is faithful, God is faithful. His faithfulness goes forth every morning. His mercy is fresh every day.

It says every day, His fresh mercy. And every day that we arise and open our eyes, mercy comes fresh upon you, upon me, upon the whole world.

A new day, a new vision for that day, before you, to perform that day that is not the drag, oh, I’ve got to go there and do that, and I’ve got to go to school or whatever it is or to study or something, it’s a new day, it’s a new opportunity for everyone this side of the grave, hallelujah! When that’s over, that dirt, that’s it, until you rise, once for every man to die and then comes the judgment, you will be there, that’s one thing you can’t avoid. They can have, say well, why didn’t you look at the – I just don’t have time for the Bible. Well, did you ever meet – I just don’t have time, I’m in that rush. But, as Billy Sunday said, you’ll have time to die, and that’s one engagement you can’t get out of. When the wagon comes, you’ll go, there’s nothing else to it. There we have Abraham, with the mind of God, he did not know that.

He did not run across it and see something, well, there it seems like they’re getting worse I can smell the brimstone there, they’re really bad people. That’s all you can do. I hear about 42nd St. Times Square is a filth hole, and you cry out about it and you pray and that’s as far as you can get, as far as the Lord lets you go, but if you have this walk, and you’re living up to the light that you know, any moment you can fly, so to speak, and you can know God’s mind for that instance, the pending, the coming of the judgments that are waiting to fall and he knew it. Well, what happened? Out of it, all he had got out of it a 30-fold-er, well, better than nothing. Lot, the wife perished, the daughters, we know. But anyhow, God’s will was performed.

But one thing, you can try to say, well Jesus’s death, what did it accomplish? What did the intercession of Abraham accomplish? Well, the salvation of whatever it did upon earth Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, the flames, the brimstone came but before the throne of God, they will have no excuse in that day. It’s finished. Jesus said, Woe, Bethesda, woe to you, because it will be a better judgment for them than it will be you. You’re worse yet than Sodom and Gomorrah. In the judgment it will pan out for you worse than it did for them.

Because a greater than Abraham is here with you, and has warned you and his voice went forth in the plazas and the public places and all over wherever he went there walking. We can’t imagine, but imagine those 12 with such a leader going forth and the woes and then the compassion, and the healing and the love, and the pouring out of his very life until his own life stream was poured out on Calvary and they witnessed to that. And people mocked even at that. Woe! unto you, Bethesda, Capernaum, woe to you!, because a greater than Abraham is here. Praise God! You see it all the way through how God has this plan, the holding of Israel so close to him, so you could say he had Israel in his arms, he took Israel in swaddling clothes, he dressed her, he washed her, he jeweled her, and she was decked with the finest spiritually that could be.

And she played the harlot and took those things and played the harlot with other nations with other people and intermarried and all of that and struck the, you could say, a blow, a horrible blow to the heart of God after all of that, all of that love that there’s no comparison. Anything that we know of real love is from God, but millions and millions of times increased, we can’t imagine what God’s love, so as I said, it outweighed the love for his own son, God so loved the world that he gave his own son that we should not perish, but have everlasting life. Praise God.

Then we talk about this nation, I can always liken the United States in the nation part, picking out of the nations and the birth of this nation, and the growing up of this nation from the colonies, and the winnings of setting out for righteous things, the Civil War, and God with us in everything, and showing his favor and blessed, enriches as he blessed Abraham abundantly. He blessed his people until they were weighed down with bounty, they were just weighty with the bounty of camels and dromedaries, whatever they had, with figs, all over the land, everything just weighed with bounty. Imagine, well, so is our country, and still we see the same although we have squandered his love that has been upon us, we have spent it on what?

And gone out, until we are sinking so low that we don’t know how near the pending judgment is because we’re not that well connected. It’s only as we are connected with heaven can we even hope. The same as you put up that tower yesterday – we have a tower up now for the antenna (I always try to say it in Spanish), antenna up there and the boys with all their weight up on that roof in the cold and getting that up so that we’ll have the ham going through to South America, praise God, as God permits. Lee has his license, but all these connections, you would know plenty to say of all that is in this and all that is in that that had to be studied, gone by the rule, all the, I don’t understand enough to talk about it, but there it is you have the diagrams that you went by. Praise God that you could get it and that you are getting it, and that you will get it.

And then one day, we will be saying, holy, praise God, but you have to be connected, the antenna has to be out there and if you draw it, you just put little rays out there like this, and that’s going to there, and not only for Colombia, but for wherever. And you capture, you over-capture, you can capture this, you can tune in with this xyz… get it down, praise God! So spiritually this is, this can be so portrayed that this has to be up, and you have to be out there waiting. That’s why it’s up there, out there. Getting the, what do you call it, the radio waves that are out there. How many of us are attuned?

Well, I can’t be there…. You can, you can. It’s just the same as I said, you can’t go to another city in a plane, you have to go and sit in the plane on the earth. You have to strap your belts and do certain things, that pilot has to lift you. They say it’s very simple work. Here’s Andrew, he was a pilot. There are some sticks there, and you move the sticks there, and you sail through the air, and you go up. But that pilot has to take you up, or you’ll sit there, that’s all, you’ll sit there, you won’t get above any clouds at all. How can you get above a cloud, you can only jump this high. You go down there and jump, so what good does that do you? You don’t have anything, you have to be taken up. You have to, but you have to go to the company and you have to get your ticket, and you have to sit in the plane, and you have to strap your belt, you have to see the lights flashing, and say, get ready.

And then you see the Catholics, they all start blessing themselves, and then they start going, and they are the worst travelers you can imagine. They’re always feeling, they have the psychological something in their mind that they are going to vomit, you know, in the buses or anything, that they have to believe that it’s going to be a terrible thing, that’s what it is. But, praise God!, as we walk in the right way as – this is a great secret here – I know him, I know him. And as sinners, you can say, oh yes, I know about Jesus, and I know about him or something, we have a picture on the wall, or, look what I got from all these places, look what I got in Peru, where was it? And he had this metal added… Or I know what it was – Look what I got while I was in Colombia… right there, around his neck.

But, does God know us?

I know Him, does God know us? Well, yes, but I mean does He know you in an intimate way? He knows everything, you can take this all in general. He knows even your thoughts, well, he does. But, does He know you in the person of your being that you rule that house well, and you will rule it well, and you will walk in the… I know what he is going to do. So I can, as we said, bless him, he’s safe for blessing. And he will cry to me, and he will be my man to intercede so that in a sense, that God will not have the responsibility in eternity of saying, I was not a fair God. You never heard, I never sent anyone to you? There was never anyone praying for you? So I have to take that upon myself, poor God. Oh, He has seen to all of that.

He has made every provision for everything, even the judgment, even the judgment, food, light, heat, blessings, everything, but for judgment, too. But for judgment, too, he has made the provision. And when Moses there, when Moses was put to it, he failed, but it seems like there could be the greatest excuses on people that have all this mercy on other people that are failing, and say, well, Moses had every right to fail because those people stoned him, they railed him – I don’t know how much you would stand, if people were just after you, stoning you, railing on you every day, and chiding you and murmuring against you, and you’re the one that is taking them to the best thing possible, and they didn’t let you live scarcely. And he just couldn’t take it. Well, but he was held chargeable for it.

But when the time came when God said, Moses, stand aside, I’m wiping them out, I’m going to wipe the whole nation, and he said, What? Blot out my name, but don’t do anything to the nation, lest the Egyptians say against you that you couldn’t do it, that he didn’t want God charged with the failure of the nation. He had God’s mind and heart then. God could not fail before the nations ever. He never has, and he never will. But he couldn’t fail, and it was enough in a human to say to God, back to God what God was saying through him, it was just like that, when a person is truly interceding, it’s just like that. The mind of God is in a human.

And also, not only will the judgment be clear, but satan that stands just below the throne of God to hinder and to do everything possible to hinder people, nations, whatever you have, there and say you can’t, God can say, stand back upon the earth, I have a human, I have humans that are representing my cause so that they got my mind down there and it’s coming through here and it’s doubly so that it must be done however many times you can intensify it. Is that clear? Or should it be repeated? Praise God, that satan says, God hates God, you do this, and I see why, like you hear him accuse Job, I see why, because you give him everything he wants. You got him with a hedge around him, and he has everything, what more does he need? But take it away and let’s see what he will do.

Let’s see, so it was that much stronger when Job came through to victory and said, no matter what he does, shall we take good and not bad, though he slay me, I am going to serve him. Well, satan, do you see? And there’s some kind of something in the mind of God that we don’t understand but satan has to be told, and not only told by God, but the proof of it, that Job said, I will not, though he slay me, I will not. He did not use his mouth or mind or thoughts to curse God, or to charge God, because it would have been a wrong charge. And he was that much with his suffering in God’s will, in God’s plan, that he could not and would not. He would not do such a thing. It would be far from him to do such a thing, to charge God.

How many people, how many times have people been tempted to charge God, sinners charging all the time, they are miserable, and they blame the misery because the devil has their eyes on God, against God. And he’s the one hiding behind that, so they don’t get wise to it. This is part of our work, to make them wise to the fact that this isn’t God doing this to you, there is a devil, whether they… Oh, devil, but they won’t laugh so much as you think they will when you call his bluff. You’ll find the devils come, well, they get taken out, they are weakened when you have the victory, that is, with authority. If you are mumbling something or repeating what someone told you or now when – he says this, I’ll say that – like you pin the button on him and you say, what’s that? And then you push the machine, and you get chewing gum or peanuts or something, it won’t work!

It works when there is power and authority and faith in back of it. You say, and the devil has to go because of Calvary. Calvary covers it all, Calvary settles it all, but you put it into effect, and possess your possessions as you go. Hallelujah, what a wonder, what a wonder. So we have a nation, that is at the border, at the brink, and we as, then the word goes forth from Isaiah, God wondered that there were no intercessors, that’s what he needs.

Those intercessors – aren’t because someone has a crying spell, all of a sudden, they pray and they get sort of worked up and shaken up a little and they start in and they love something or a great gush of love on somebody’s family… that is not intercession, that’s moving, and it’s soul and supplication, you feel sorry, and it’s supplication for that person, but it isn’t intercession. Intercession is so different, you do not know, let’s say, you do not know maybe what you are praying for. Some of you have experienced it so far so far so far so far so far…, I often would have wanted to have gotten a book, but I never heard where you could get it. Some people, it sounds, something, some people have died in intercession, they couldn’t stand it. You think, well, would God… yes, they died in intercession. I don’t know what it is called, I don’t know where it is, but there’s a book on it. I know, I was taken into intercession, I didn’t know what I was praying for, I was new in the way, I was taken just the same as over the pit.

And it was my husband, thank God I didn’t know it, there was nothing to get the soul mixed up or the supplication than when he came through such travail of days. Praise God. I knew, I knew part of the time, after I was into it, but I did not know that I would be taken into intercession. Now God is looking for intercessors. It means, it is the worse suffering I have ever had, of course, it affects you, as he said, you read this, my liver was poured out on the ground. And he says, one time, my bowels are moved, it affects you all in here, you are not able, you are not yourself to be strength, who would want such a thing? But for God’s glory. There’s a man in heaven today, well, I know Jesus, but my husband’s there because of intercession.

Not because I did it. If I had done it, it wouldn’t have been worth anything. You can’t get people through because you want them through, you are sorry for them, or they fail, so I’ll get down. That as good as far as you can go, what can you do, you have to. But I know Him, and I know what he is going to do, and I will – must I hide from Abraham, and there are many things that we would like to know today, and it’s only through, you can say, intercession, word of wisdom, word of knowledge.
